January 21,2019

Dear Parents,

I am very happy and excited to begin this 2019 year with your little ones! I am sure it will continue to be a beautiful and productive school year. I am so happy to continue this beautiful journey with your children. We are exploring and learning so many new things each day. We are learning how special we are to God as we are engaged more in our I am Special religion program and the children are enjoying it much! Each week we are learning how unique we are to God. I am very blessed to have your children in my class.

This week we will continue to reinforce and practice our classroom routines and rules together. Each child has come a long way and I am extremely proud! Children will continue to practice the importance of the sign of the cross and pray together. We will continue to practice our winter songs, and other nursery rhymes this week. We will continue to discuss the winter season and how the weather is changing. We will continue to read more winter stories in class. The children will continue  to work on their winter projects and other fun January activities. We will continue to discuss penguins and other winter animals this week. We will also work more on our numbers and do more counting activities in class during our centers time. We will begin to talk about our alphabet letter N in class this week. We will continue to focus on the importance of friendships, sharing, and being kind to one another this week in class.
