Art Projects for May - June:

Spring Flowers:  Students draw a tulip shape, adding the flower, stem and leaves.  They color the flower by overlapping tissue paper pieces.  They learn how to recognize analogous colors, which are colors next to each other on the color wheel.  They select tissue paper colors to complete their drawing

A Daisy Paper Construct:  To again reinforce the previous lesson, everything is drawn from shapes, students create a realistic daisy form by drawing the components of a flower on construction paper, cutting the pieces out and placing them correctly to form the shape.
