Congratulations to our 2017 graduates!

June 18, 2017

Dear Holy Name of Mary School Families,

As the 2016 - 2017 School Year comes to an end, I want to take a moment to say thank you. The education and faith formation of children is a collaborative effort, school and family working together to foster growth academically and spiritually.  Your support is necessary to make our efforts successful. Thank you for always giving Holy Name of Mary School your support. This year we have accomplished so much together!

Some 2016-2017 highlights:

  • Students utilizing I-Pads
  • Student produced Newsletters
  • Math Club for our younger students
  • Art Club for our Middle School students
  • Another great production “The Little Mermaid”
  • The 8th grade students were accepted (with scholarships) into wonderful Catholic High Schools

We are looking forward to next year and the addition of more technology, and new clubs as we continue to raise the bar academically.

2017-2018 is going to be a great year!  School begins on September 5 for grades 1-8. The calendar will be accessible on the HNOM website. Keep an eye on our website for summer updates.

I wish all our graduates much success as they move on to High School. Please keep me informed of their accomplishments and experiences.  I will keep each one of them in my prayers.

When you are vacationing this summer, on Long Island or away, please send HNOM a postcard. I will hang them up in the school and we can all share our summer experiences in September.

Encourage your children to complete the summer packet they received. The packets will help to prepare them for next year. Supply lists and Summer Packets can be found on our webpage under Parent Resources.

May you have a blessed summer filled with memory making moments!

In Christ I Remain,

Mrs. Pamela Sanders
