To collect the belongings that they left in school that fateful day back in March, the 8th grade and their families pulled through the schoolyard in their cars for an assembly-line pick-up. Greeted by balloons and some of their teachers, the Class of 2020 received pun bags filled with their locker contents, lawn signs, and their caps/gowns! 



                   
                   

Since the pandemic prompted creativity from schools nationwide to honor the Class of 2020, students received a pop-up method of celebration: lawn signs. The valedictorian and salutatorian were surprised by special signs that included their academic title!



Disappointingly, the blue Sloth bag didn't really feature a pun. Regardless, the 8th graders received special pun bags from their English teacher, Ms. Brown, that were "llamazing" and "like no otter" for a personal touch that hopefully held memories of their pun-filled curriculum this year!
