As Trimester 2's annual event for Grades 5-8, the STEM Fair hosted 8th grade projects that addressed real-world problems and offered research-based solutions. By discussing their projects to younger elementary students during the school day, the 8th grade finalists prepared for their after-school presentations to a panel of judges. Not only did Mrs. Powell - our 6-8 science teacher - foster students' problem-solving mindsets and guide their research process, she set-up and organized the STEM fair. Thank you, Mrs. Powell!
