To ensure the 8th grade graduates' academic success and extracurricular participation were recognized, HNOM held a virtual awards ceremony on Zoom at 10:00 AM on the morning of students' graduation day. With a slideshow to guide the award presentations and silent clapping to honor the award recipients, the virtual ceremony combined the extracurricular and service awards with the academic honors for a safe ceremony that respected COVID-19 guidelines.

To uphold the breakfast tradition during the morning awards ceremony, Mrs. Sanders sent home gift cards for families to purchase a breakfast treat of their choice!

As an addition to the extracurricular awards this year, the cheerleading coach and drama faculty advisors each developed three "Special Recognition Awards" to recognize individual talents within their sport or club. Thank you, Ms. Llewellyn, Ms. Bhojwani, Mrs. Powell, Mrs. O'Connor, and Miss Hahl!



Graduates, thank you for sharing your time and talents with the HNOM school community!



As another special addition this year, the graduates who received Individual Subject Awards for core classes received the associated book from  The Big Fat Notebook: Everything You Need to Know to Ace Middle School series that held a title page inscription from the teacher who gave them the award!



The 8th grade students received the inscribed books in their graduation boxes!
