To show their solidarity with our late-night studiers and remind 8th grade about the importance of a good night's sleep, middle school students participated in CHSEE Spirit Week's Pajama Day! From classic plaid sleepwear to Chewbacca, Eeyore, and reindeer onesies, students shuffled around the school looking cool, comfortable, and a little bit outrageous.
With the majority of their class decked out in fashionable sleepwear, 7th grade outdid both Grades 6 and 8 with their enthusiasm and their pajama choices!
Middle schoolers got a few laughs from teacher participation. Ms. Brown spent the day in octopus pajama pants, and Mrs. DeRosa wore cat pajama pants!
6th grade participated with pajama sets and a pink cat onesie (pictured above).
In 7th grade, 18 students sported a wide variety of pajamas (pictured above). From Christmas, Halloween, plaid, and camouflage sleepwear to animal and Disney character onesies, 7th grade outshined all other grade levels with their Pajama Day participation. Excellent job, 7th grade!
A sleepmask, classic plaid pajama pants, and some adorable onesies characterized 8th grade's participation in Pajama Day!
The majority of 8th graders chose loungewear over pajamas, slightly defying the concept of Pajama Day. Although they may have felt they were too cool for true pajamas, their sweatpants and T-shirt combos worked just fine.
