← INKED club members sign a copy of Maggie Tokuda-Hall's picture book, Also an Octopus, at the end of each academic year! It is a meta-cognitive story about the writing process that reminds readers that all stories start with nothing - and then brainstorms and adds basic story elements in a humorous attempt to overcome that "blank canvas"!
