In February 2026:
 
Students in Grades 3-6 will begin preparing for Spring Concert on April 21st. 

Nursery through Second Grade: will continue to explore the different ways we use our voices in singing seasonal songs. 
 
Third Grade will continue Recorder Karate I. Students will learn how to play low d and e on their recorders.  
 
Fourth Grade will continue Recorder Karate II. Students will learn F# and low D learning how to play "Hail Mary, Gentle Woman" on their recorders.
 
Fifth Grade will continue Classical Music unit.   
 
 Sixth Grade will begin their Motown unit. 

Seventh Grade willcontinue their Piano unit by learning songs that switch between C and G chords. After break,students will learn the F Scale and F chord so they can practice switching between three chords. 

 Eighth Grade: will continue their piano unit- in particular the Variation Section. Students will learn how to compose vairations of different songs. Students will also begin composing their Final Project.







 
Classes will also practice Liturgical Music for Thursday school Masses.
