Six 8th graders participated in Ms. Nowicki's school-wide "Ugly Christmas Sweater" Contest! Many sweaters featured Christmas trees, but each had unique decorations. From light-up bulbs to emojis and hot sauce, the students' sweaters trimmed their knitted trees with novelty ornaments! Although most sweaters were store-brought with homemade embellishments, one 8th grader created her own from scratch with strings of yarn, flashing lights, and bows! A "Tree Rex" sweater and a "Let's Go Nuts" nutcracker design boasted puns - which made their English teacher, Ms. Brown, very proud.
