8th Graders Write their Final BEING THERE DIARY Entry for the 2020-2021 School Year!

June 10, 2021Adapted from Frank Chimero's BEING THERE DIARY, 8th graders spent their final year at HNOM by reflecting on the "very best moment of [their] week" every Friday in English class. The day before their graduation, 8th graders had one final entry to write for a reflective exit ticket that would complete the journal that they began in September! Hopefully the weekly journal - which accumulated a total of 40 entries over the year - will be a keepsake for the Class of 2021!
In-person 8th grade students also gathered around Ms. Brown's Chromebook to hear a remote learner's final pun joke for the 2020-2021 academic year! After a mini-unit on puns, Larry would always brighten up English classes by sharing the funny pun jokes he found. It was the cutest - and an absolutely perfect - end to 8th grade's English class!
