After preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation this school year through essays and sponsor interviews, the Class of 2021 were Confirmed on a beautiful Saturday morning. The bishop spoke to the 8th graders about the importance of keeping God in their lives, and offered a small - but also extremely relevant due to the digital natives standing before him - recommendation on how to do so: download a free Bible app on your Smartphone so that on occasion - when you are looking at your phones more than 20 times a day - they will see it and be inspired by it. The bishop also demanded bold responses to his questions from the Confirmation candidates, drawing out their confidence in the momentous sacrament.
