To bring a little holiday spirit into the first week of December, 8th graders enjoyed Theatre Three's 37th annual production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, which was adapted for the stage from the classic novella by Charles Dickens. With front row seats, 8th graders were treated to the plight of Ebeneezer Scrooge in a way that brought to life their 7th grade reading of the story. Special effects - like color lighting and fog - dazzled 8th graders, especially when Marley and the Ghost of Christmas Future appeared on stage. Some students related to the cheeky humor of the Ghost of Christmas Present while others were drawn in by the play's unique personification of Want. Thank you for an amazing field trip, Theatre Three!
