The 2023-2024 school year will be my tenth year working as an Academic Intervention teacher at Holy Name of Mary School. Prior to that, I was a Permanent Substitute here for one year. I began teaching many years ago in the Valley Stream Central High School District, as a Reading Teacher, but then left to raise my children.
I hold a Masters Degree in Education as a Reading Specialist from St. John's
University, and a Bachelors Degree in English/Education from Molloy College.
I am happy to say that my brothers, sister and I are all graduates of Holy Name of Mary School! My sisterand her family remain parishioners here. I am proud that Holy Name of Mary is still an important part of our lives.
