Dear Parents, 

 I am very blessed to be your child's teacher this school year. I am sure this will be a beautiful and productive year. Our school journey will be a wonderful one full of so many fun experiences as your child prepares for Pre-K. We will be learning about holidays, shapes, letters, size, seasons, colors, numbers, the calendar, and so much more throughout our school year. Your child will learn how special and unique we are to God. We will pray, learn, play, and grow together as a school family. We will thank God for our friends and families. Children will learn to be kind and caring with each other as we go through our journey together.

The children will make beautiful friendships in school during all these months in our classroom. We will be beautifully practicing our classroom rules and daily routines all year.  We will focus on being little followers of Jesus during our school year. The little ones will learn and understand the importance of daily prayer. During the school year the children will be giving thanks to God for our families, friends, and all that God gives us as we pray together in class. The children will  learn how special they are to God.  The children will be praying, learning, playing, and continue to grow together as a school family daily. The children will practice kindness, sharing and caring daily with their peers in school during all our school days. The little ones will also be working on the alphabet, numbers, counting activities, and our religion program in class this school year.  We will be reading many new stories and learning so much in the upcoming weeks. We have many fun activities planned during this beautiful new  month for your child. Your little ones will have a very busy few weeks ahead as we learn and practice our routines, daily crafts and activities.  We will learn our colors, shapes, the alphabet, kindness, gratitude and  learn our new prayers this new month. Our class will learn about prayer,  friendship, kindness, sharing, and demonstrate gratitude to God daily in school as we prepare for this new month. We will be learning about the winter season and work on our special crafts. We will learn about Groundhog Day, Dental Health, Valentine's Day, Friendship, Chinese New Year, President's Day, Black History Month and gratitude. Your little one will become more familiar with our I am Special program. We will also be learning our new month holiday songs, new routine songs and learn new nursery rhyme songs in our upcoming weeks. We will be reading fun new stories and will learning so much more in the upcoming few weeks. Welcome to our new month!

Weekly Reminders

Please check the monthly calendars and weekly notices that will go home in your child's folder. Check folders daily. 
Alphabet "Show and Tell" Bring an item that begins with the designated letter of the week! "Show and Tell" will resume after vacation. 

Wednesday, February 11- 100th Day of School. Your Future is Bright wear Neon today!  Pretzel Day

Thursday, February 12- Nursery class Valentine's Day Dress Down wear pink or red.  "Show and Tell" will resume after vacation.

Friday, February 13- PS I Love You Day-Wear Purple to school today. Last day of school before Winter Recess.

Monday February 16- Friday, February 20- School Closed February Winter Recess

Monday, February 23- School Reopens

PTL School Dues. Please send in the PTL dues to school. 

Chocolate Sale- Send in the chocolate money to school.

Arrival/ Dismissal

Daily school arrival/dismissal during our full school year

Morning Arrival-8:50 A.M.-9:00 A.M 

Full Days Dismissal- 2:30 P.M. On our full school days. Please let me know if your child is going to BASE after school program.

Half Day Dismissal Days- 11:00 A.M Dismissal all year


 
Full uniform must be worn to school daily. Please check your child's folder daily notices go home often.

Send school supplies, filled out forms, and change of clothes. Mickey pick up signs must be used for dismissal daily. Name tags must be worn

Lunch and snacks- Send a morning snack and a drink for your child daily. No Nutella or peanut butter. Send lunch and bowls/plates, utensils, lunch snack and a drink for lunch. Label all your child's belongings please.

*Uniforms are to be worn daily to school. White Velcro sneakers work best!

*Folders need to be in your child’s school bag daily. Pick up signs and name tags must be used daily.
