Where faith and knowledge meet.
September 2020
Dear Pre-K Parents,
Welcome to Holy Name of Mary Pre-School! We are so excited to begin this journey. Although things are very different this year, we are working very hard to ensure that your child will have a positive and productive year. We feel very blessed to share in the spiritual and academic growth of your child. We look forward to working together to make this a wonderful experience for all of us.
One of the things that we enjoy is building a community of learners. Our Faith is what makes us who we are at Holy Name Of Mary. We will learn new prayers, pray together daily, and help each other grow in God’s love.
Preschool may be your child’s first instructional experience. We assure you that it will be educational and fun at the same time. Preschool is a big year. During the year your child will not only have fun creating projects, but also learn to hold a pencil, recognize and write his/her first name as well as the letters of the alphabet. We will teach them to cut with scissors, identify colors, shapes, patterns and numbers to 20. During calendar time we will learn about the days of the week, months of the year and the different seasons. Every day is an opportunity for us to learn something new and socialize with our classmates (while social distancing of course!) A great deal of learning will take place as we visit our many themes throughout the year.
.
Full days begin on Monday, September 14th. Pre-K 1 at 8:45-2:20, Pre-K 2 -8:55- 2:30.
We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and we will see you in September.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Casazza and Mrs. Mikowski
